Brand new Ford Ranger Raptor totaled
Remember that guy who crashed a brand-new Ford Ranger Raptor during a joyride? Well, it would seem that he was intoxicated!
The man, said to be a salesman at a Ford dealership in South Africa, took the bakkie for a spin before the new owner could take delivery of it. In videos supplied to That’s My Car, both the driver (the salesman) and his passenger are seen holding a darkened beverage, akin to Brandy and Coke.
After a few jaunts on an open field, the driver lost control of the bakkie at around 50km/h and rolled it. Totaling R1.1 million high-performance bakkie in the process.
According to Car Magazine, “the owner was only made aware of the bakkie’s condition after calling in to announce that he would be collecting it.”
