2025 Land Rover Defender OCTA
The new Defender OCTA is the toughest, most capable, and most luxurious version of this iconic 4×4 yet. It’s powered by a 4.4-liter Twin Turbo mild-hybrid V8 engine, delivering 467kW and up to 750Nm of torque. This powerful engine propels the OCTA from 0-100km/h in just 4.0 seconds.
The OCTA’s exterior is designed to be bolder and tougher. It has a raised ride height, wider stance, and extended wheel arches, giving it an imposing presence. Redesigned bumpers improve its approach and departure angles, and tough underbody protection allows for more confident off-road exploration.
The OCTA can wade through up to one meter of water, making it the most capable Defender ever.
Inside, the OCTA Edition One features an exclusive Faroe Green paint color and a luxurious Khaki and Ebony UltrafabricsTM PU interior with seamless 3D Knit. New Chopped Carbon Fibre detailing and 20-inch forged alloy wheels with all-terrain or specially developed Advanced All-Terrain Tyres complete the package.
The OCTA’s performance is unmatched. Its 4.4-liter V8 engine, combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission and high and low-range gears, offers incredible power and driveability. The 6D Dynamics suspension technology and extensive chassis revisions provide exceptional handling both on and off-road.
Defender OCTA also features a range of advanced technologies, including an innovative hydraulically-interlinked suspension system, which virtually eliminates pitch and body roll on-road while offering greater wheel articulation off-road. This makes the OCTA both comfortable and capable in any terrain.
The new Defender OCTA will be available soon with pricing starting from R3 499 100 in South Africa. This new brute of an SUV made its public debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
