2024 Ford Territory
Ford South Africa has launched the new Territory, entering the five-seater small SUV market. This new model offers spaciousness, comfort, advanced technologies, and enhanced safety features.
Progressive design
The Ford Territory follows the ‘Progressive Energy in Strength’ design philosophy, characterized by a strong shoulder line and innovative LED lighting for both headlamps and taillights.

The front end is framed by an integrated grille and LED daytime running lights, creating a distinctive look. The sculpted body sides and sharp creases under the beltline contribute to a dynamic and agile appearance.
Alloy wheels come in 18-inch and 19-inch options depending on the model, while the panoramic moonroof adds a streamlined look.
Interior and technology
Inside, the Territory boasts a modern, spacious cabin with high-quality finishes and advanced technology. The dashboard features strong horizontal lines, creating a sense of openness.
The Trend and Titanium models include wireless phone charging, while the Titanium model also offers a powered twin-panel panoramic moonroof and LED ambient lighting.

All models come with a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. The Titanium model also features a 12.3-inch high-definition digital instrument cluster, while the Ambiente and Trend models have a 7-inch TFT cluster with primary analogue gauges.
Connectivity options include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with a Bluetooth audio system that varies from six speakers in the Ambiente and Trend to eight speakers in the Titanium. Multiple USB ports are available for convenience.
Performance
The new Territory is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost petrol engine, producing 138kW and 318Nm of torque. It includes Auto Start-Stop technology and is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) for improved performance and fuel efficiency.
The vehicle offers four Selectable Drive Modes: Normal, Eco, Sport, and Mountain, to optimize driving conditions. Additional driver-assist technologies like Hill Launch Assist and Hill Descent Control ensure better control on steep gradients.
Model options
The Territory is available in three models: Ambiente, Trend, and Titanium.
Ambiente
The entry-level Ambiente includes a six-way manual driver’s seat adjustment, four-way front passenger seat adjustment, privacy glass, rear air vent, and a six-speaker Bluetooth audio system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also features cruise control and rear parking sensors.
Trend
The Trend model adds an electric-powered tailgate, automatic headlamp activation, rain-sensing windscreen wipers, dual-zone electronic climate control, wireless charging, an integrated reversing camera, and an electrochromatic rearview mirror. It features high-quality vinyl seat trim and a leatherette multi-function steering wheel.
Titanium
The top-tier Titanium model boasts 19-inch alloy wheels, chrome-finished door handles, heated power-folding side mirrors with puddle lamps, and front parking sensors.
The interior includes full leather trim, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, four-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, and a powered twin-panel panoramic moonroof. LED ambient lighting, a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster, and an eight-speaker audio system are also included.
